If you are having trouble accessing the site use this guide to help you check your browser settings and answer any questions you may have.

 

Browser Checklist

Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 4.0 or greater -- (Note: These instructions are a guide only and do not cover all versions of IE)

1. Cookies must be enabled

  • To enable cookies in IE, have the browser open and click on the tools menu, scroll down and select Internet Options. Next click on the security tab. Click the custom level button. Scroll down to cookies and click enable. Next, click the OK button on the bottom of the screen.

2. Java must be enabled

  • To enable Java in IE, have the browser open and click on the tools menu, scroll down and select Internet Options. Next click on the advanced tab. Scroll down to Java VM. Click enable and then click the OK button on the bottom of the screen.

3. SSL must be enabled (version 3.0)

  • To enable SSL in IE, have the browser open and click on the tools menu, scroll down and select Internet Options. Next click on the advanced tab. Scroll down to security, then click on the SSL to enable it (enable all versions). Next click the OK button on the bottom of the screen.

Netscape 4.0 or greater -- (Note: These instructions are a guide only and do not cover all versions of Netscape)

1. Cookies must be enabled

  • To enable cookies in Netscape, click edit then preferences. Next, click on advanced in the window on the left side. Next, click "accept all cookies", then click the OK button.

2. Java must be enabled

  • To enable Java in Netscape, click on the padlock icon. Next, click on the signers link in the window on the left side of the screen. Scroll down to the "Verisign/RSA Secure Server CA". Keep it highlighted and click the edit button on the right side of the screen. Make sure there are check marks in the boxes for the following: "accept this certificate authority for certifying network sites" and "accept this certificate authority for certifying e-mail users". Then click OK.

3. SSL must be enabled (version 3.0)

  • To enable SSL on Netscape, click on the padlock icon. Next, click on the navigator link in the window on the left side of the screen. Scroll down to "Advanced Security (SSL) Configuration". Click SSL v2 and SSL v3 (make sure they are checked). Before clicking OK, click on the configure SSL v2 button. Make sure both boxes are checked. Next, click on the configure SSL v3 button. Make sure all are checked except for the "no encryption on a MD5 MAC". Then click ok Note: If under the configuration any changes are made, you must click OK in the configuration window, and then click OK again in the Navigator window.

General Notes

  • Having programs such as Netwatch enabled (Netwatch is a program designed for parents to keep children out of explicit websites) may prevent proper access to the homebanking website. If you have any type of protective software, either in the form of a personal or coporate firewall system, Netwatch or other monitoring software, you either must disable it or seek professional assistance with the configuration of your network or computer system.

  • If you continue having problems accessing the Homebanking Website from a particular PC or location, please try accessing it from another PC or location. For example: If you are trying to access the site from work and are having difficulties, try it from home or try using another computer. For problems accessing the site from your place of employment you may need to speak with your employers IT department to allow such access. Some companies will not allow access to secure internet websites on some or all computers within their network.
